2 – We tackle California state’s most pressing challenge
California Volunteers is led by the state’s Chief Service Officer, Josh Fryday. We are always looking at the state’s most pressing issues that the people have to deal with and through our data, we would sort the priorities and help through it all. We have even launched the #CaliforniansForAll initiative to assist the state in times of emergencies and disaster. This initiative was launched due to Covid-19. We also have over 80 programs which are called the AmeriCorps programs to provide aid to more than 160,000 Californians every year. This is something very important to us because of how much support we can give to the community in times of hardship. People should know that there are so many ways possible to give back to the community and now more than ever with the pandemic, we all need to come together as volunteers and help build our community towards a better future. Through volunteering, we wish we can fill everyone’s heart with hope and faith. The current situation may seem bleak and discouraging but with volunteers, you can make a change by touching people’s hearts so they can feel warmth in this time of coldness.

A lot of our volunteers are youths that do this as a side affair. They do this as a means to fill up their free time after they finish high school or even as a hobby on weekends while they work or study during the weekdays.
