Governor's Mentoring Partnership: Providing Support for California's Youth through Mentoring

Participate in the State Employee Mentor Leave Policy (SEMLP)

Complete Our Mentoring Self Assessment Survey
If you represent a mentoring program that is interested in recruiting state employees as mentors, please complete a brief survey to determine your eligibility to participate in the State Employee Mentor Leave Policy (SEMLP).

About the Survey
The first half of the survey asks about the types of mentoring services your program provides, the demographics of your mentors and mentees, and contact information. The second half of the survey focuses on mentoring best practices.

If eligible, your program could benefit from having state employees as mentors. Your program could become part of the mentoring directory posted on the Governor’s Mentoring Partnership website, from which state employees can choose programs to volunteer their time as mentors and receive paid leave credit.
