About the CaliforniaVolunteers Business Partners

Business Partners are the cornerstone of CaliforniaVolunteers’ Business Partners Program.

In September 2009, CaliforniaVolunteers held the inaugural gathering of Business Partners, the first statewide initiative focusing on employee volunteering and service to communities. The Business Partners membership are informed, innovative and participate in CaliforniaVolunteers’ efforts to increase and strengthen business volunteerism and service across the state. More than 42 leading businesses based or with a strong presence in California have already joined CaliforniaVolunteers Business Partners and represent a large cross section of industries.

The Business Partners will:

• Share best practices for businesses to grow the culture of workplace volunteering in California.
• Focus on unique and innovative opportunities to collaboration on service and volunteering which makes a difference in Californian communities.
• Participate in statewide opportunities implemented through the CaliforniaVolunteers’ Business Partners Program.
