CaliforniaVolunteers Background
CaliforniaVolunteers is charged with increasing the number of Californians engaged in service and volunteering throughout the state. CaliforniaVolunteers administers AmeriCorps, Citizen Corps, the California Volunteer Matching Network, as well as guides policy development to support the nonprofit and service fields. CaliforniaVolunteers is led by a Cabinet Secretary and works closely with a 25-member Commission appointed by the Governor.
